FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. How many tubes do I need?
A. An average of 1 tube per 2 sheets of 2400mm x 1200mm Aluminium Composite Panel.

Q. How much do I use?
A. Quantity can vary depending on the weight of the item being adhered. A 2400mm x 1200mm Aluminium Composite Panel would require vertical beads every 200mm to 300mm apart on average to ensure sufficient coverage.
Apply Grip & Grab Adhesive to the item that is to be adhered - only one surface requires adhesive.

Q. What size nozzle do I need to extract?
A. The provided V-groove nozzle is designed to deliver the correct amount of Grip & Grab Adhesive and does not require modification. Standard nozzles are not suitable for use.

Q. How long after I put it up can I leave?
A. As soon as the item is level you will be able to leave. On extremely heavy items, temporary support may be
necessary during the curing process.
Mechanical fixings should always be used in overhead applications to comply with standard safety procedures.

Q. How long does Grip&Grab take to cure?
A. Grip & Grab Adhesive grips instantly, however the curing process takes 24 hours to complete.
​Q. Can I paint Grip&Grab?
A. Yes it is possible to paint Grip & Grab Adhesive after curing
time, there’s no need for special primer. Grip & Grab Adhesive
however, is not paintable with alkyd resin paints.

Q. How long will Grip&Grab last in the tube?
A. Unopened and stored in cool, dry conditions between +5˚C
and +25˚C, Grip & Grab Adhesive will last for 9 months.
If opened, shelf-life will be dependant on sealing after use.

Q. What surface preparation do I require?
A. Both surfaces must be stable, clean and oil, grease and dust free. For maximum bond strength surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned with a product such as Beta Bond Adhesive Promoter and Cleaner.

Q. Can I use Grip&Grab in extreme temperatures?
A. Grip & Grab Adhesive can be applied internally or externally
and tolerates temperatures ranging from -40˚C to +90˚C.

Q. Is there anywhere Grip&Grab can’t be used?
A. Grip & Grab Adhesive is not suitable for use on Anti-graffitti
coatings, Bitumen-based (Tar) areas, Teflon or PTFE recycled plastics.
Refer to the Grip & Grab Adhesive Technical Data to determine whether this product is suitable for the intended use. Bond testing is recommended prior to application.
